ATLANTA
WE WERE THERE
HOW ABOUT YOU?
JULY 19TH - 20TH -21ST
Trailering the bike up to Atlanta was a beautiful thing ,Only because on the way home sunday it starting raining around Montgomery,Al. and 5 hours later when we got home it was still raining .
Atlanta was hot the Rally was great and the ride that i lead to the north Georgia mountains was full of adventure.
We climbed rolling hills dashed down steep valleys (lost some brake pad there).
One had a throttle cable stick at 4400 ft in elevation Bald Mountain .
Another had a flat tire 40 miles from the nearest dealer at 5:00 pm (CLOSED)
2 cans of fix a flat some plugs and luck to boot and we're off
Now its getting late one rider has no headlight ,And someone says what could happen next, RAIN ?
THANKS MARY!!
Oh I almost forgot !
One cellphone at 65 mph. on 1-285 (that was mine that went splat)
opps don't have to worry about those minutes anymore
Okay 350 miles later we all made it back safe .
I have to say this much .
The experience that we all got that day was priceless .
I will ride with all of you again.
